SGL already has extensive business in France handled by agents. By establishing our own operation under our own brand, new and existing customers will benefit from strengthened service offerings, access to global logistics solutions, and profound expertise and know-how.

On April 15, Scan Global Logistics (SGL) opens its first office in France. Following the successful expansion in Benelux, Poland, and the Czech Republic, the opening will secure SGL a strategically strong position to provide uncomplicated logistics to key European markets.

Managing Director, Olivier Sainterent, comments on the significant potential in France:

“As a fully-owned SGL operation, all customers will benefit significantly from our agile, flexible, and responsive business handling. A hands-on, solution-driven, and personal approach is pivotal to delivering in a world of complicated logistics and unforeseen events. We are up for exceeding our customers’ expectations and taking on new challenges.”

Opening for more business in France is perfectly aligned with our corporate growth journey and ambitions. However, it’s the people behind that make the difference. Our day-to-day successes are created by logistics professionals who excel in a fast-paced yet openhearted environment, and our team is ready.

SGL France is a full-service air, ocean, and rail forwarder offering global logistics services, order/carrier management, and customs brokerage.

Olivier Sainterent has +25 years as an experienced supply chain professional previously with Damco. He will be supported by Sebastien Delmotte, previously Heppner, acting as branch manager. The highly qualified team looks forward to delivering efficient logistics solutions to new and existing customers from the office in Lille, France, from April 15.
