FREJA Transport & Logistics Oy, headquartered in Turku, Finland has acquired the business and share capital of TL Trans. The transport company specializes in temperature-controlled transport.
Through the transaction, FREJA will significantly expand its range of services in international temperature-controlled transportation in Finland.
TL Trans’s personnel and equipment will be transferred to FREJA Transport & Logistics Oy. FREJA Finland’s current capacity of about 850 curtain trailers will increase by about 80 thermo trailers (reefers).
“With the acquisition, we will strengthen our position in international road transport services. Now we will also be able to offer more temperature-controlled transport in the future from and to Finland. I am pleased to have new transport professionals joining our team in Finland, the Managing Director of FREJA Finland” Matti Urmas says.
The new office in Ostrobothnia, in addition to the Vaasa office, will also strengthen FREJA’s Ostrobothnia operations. TL Trans was owned by Jörgen Byskata and Marko Ruotsalainen.
“FREJA is a good new home for TL Trans’s operations and we will be able to continue to serve our customers with even wider transportation solutions” says TL Trans’s CEO Jörgen Byskata.
TL Trans is a forwarding and transportation company founded in 1992 in Kronoby.
